09:00: Begin a 6km trekking tour down the Muong Hoa Valley. Pass through the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai and admire the sweeping terraced rice fields.
12:30: Stop for a picnic lunch by a flowing river stream.
14:00: Continue trekking to Ta Van village, home to the Giay ethnic minority group.
