Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – City Tour – Overnight Train to Sapa
Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, then take a leisurely stroll through the Hanoi Old Quarter. In the evening, enjoy dinner on your own before transferring to Hanoi Railway Station for the overnight train to Lao Cai (train departs at 9:30 PM).

Day 2: Sapa – Lao Chai, Ta Van, Cat Cat
Arrive early in Lao Cai (~5:30 AM) and transfer to Sapa. After breakfast and a short rest, begin your trek to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages (~6 km) through Muong Hoa Valley. Return to town for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Cat Cat Village for a short walk and experience the daily life of the Hmong ethnic people. Enjoy free time and dinner in Sapa.

Day 3: Fansipan Peak – Hà Khẩu Border – Overnight Train to Hanoi
In the morning, take the cable car ride to Fansipan Peak, the “Roof of Indochina” at 3,143 meters. Optionally take the funicular to the summit pagoda. Later, transfer to Lao Cai city and visit the Hà Khẩu Border Gate, the boundary point between Vietnam and China (border crossing requires pre-arranged visa). In the evening, have dinner locally or a packed meal, then board the overnight train back to Hanoi (~8:30 PM).

Day 4: Halong Bay Day Cruise – Transfer to Ninh Binh
Arrive early in Hanoi and enjoy a quick breakfast before driving to Halong Bay (approximately 2.5 hours). Join a 7-hour day cruise, including visits to Thien Cung or Sung Sot Cave, kayaking or bamboo boat ride, and a seafood lunch onboard. Disembark around 5:30 PM and drive to Ninh Binh (~3.5 hours). Check in and rest upon arrival.

Day 5: Ninh Binh Exploration – Return to Hanoi
In the morning, visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, followed by a scenic boat ride at either Trang An or Tam Coc. Then, climb to Mua Cave Viewpoint for panoramic views. Transfer back to Hanoi (~3 hours). Enjoy your free evening in the city.

Day 6: Hanoi – Departure
Spend your free time relaxing, visiting cafés, or shopping before your airport transfer to Noi Bai for your departure flight.
